You're getting some great experience standing up to slow management!<br /><br />A check can and should be cut by the end of the week to reimburse you. I don't care if it's mid-pay cycle - get a definite date for when the check will be issued and then send a follow up email reiterating that you'll be receiving the reimbursement on X day. I'd write something to the effect of "per our conversation today regarding my transit reimbursement, I just want to confirm that I will receive the reimbursement no later than ___."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
